Chocolate & Peanut Butter Banana Boats |
This is not a watch your weight dessert! Super rich and delightful!
Ingredients
- Bananas – Split lengthwise
- Peanut Butter
- Chocolate chips
- Mini Marshmallows
Instructions
- This is my first post, even though I have been reading dilligently for about 4 months. I have had my Grill Dome for about 3 weeks and everything comes out excellent. I decided tonight to finally use that extra heat after making a large turkey breast. My wife and I made some banana boats. We make them when we camp and I thought the Dome would be a good place to make them. You just butterfly a banana in its peel (actually, just a slice lengthwise). Spread some peanut butter in the banana. Then cram some chocolate chips and marshmellows into the peanut butter. Make a loose foil packet around the banana and throw them on the grill for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on how mushy you like your banana. Take out a spoon and enjoy. Very quick. Very Easy. And like everything on the Dome, very TASTY!!!! If you don’t want marshmellows, you can throw a dollop of whipped cream on before you eat.
- Enjoy
