Grill Dome Kamado

Review: 5 - "Well, I could've got two" by , written on April 20, 2010

Fantastic customer service and high quality craftsmanship combine to make Grill Dome the leader in a competitive ceramic cooker market. I bought the Infinity Auto Black after 20 years as a gas jockey on a metal LP grill and sometime Charcoal briquette BBQ user because I was tired of my gas grill needing replacement parts due to corrosion and heavy use. (At great cost and annoyance to me) What a palate opening experience. Food is juicier, tastier, smokier, and easier. Hands down the best Grilling decision I've ever made. The 304 Stainless Steel banding and heavy duty automatic lid hinge are designed to give decades of worry free performance without corrosion or wearout and the Ceramic cooker itself won't rust or corrode. Combine that with a full lifetime warranty and top notch customer service and you can easily see why I chose the Grill Dome over the competitors.
Couldn't be happier with my purchase, well, I could've got two.

Review: 5 - "Christmas Gift" by , written on July 18, 2010

My wife and I shared several meals with our good friends in Greeneville, TN, while visiting. I marveled at the versatility of the Grill Dome, and was sad to find out they were sold in California.
That Christmas, more than 10 years ago, I was delighted to find my grill dome ""under the Christmas tree"". My wife had it shipped to Southern California. Nothing, and I mean nothing even comes close. It has served me, AND MY GUESTS, for so many meals since. Nobody barbeques as well as those using a grill dome. I'm looking forward to a lifetime of envy from my neighbors.

First off I studied the pros and cons of all the ceramic cookers and found the GD came out on top in most areas. The Egg has the same basic function however the GD has more features that appealed to me. Because I cook for a living i have many cookers Ole Hickory EL-EW,Vermont Casting gas grill, Weber Kettles, and the large GD. If I had to pick one cooker it would be the Grill Dome because it cooks low and slow and hot and fast with a minimum amount of fuel. This grill like any of the others require a learning curve but I can't tell you about all of the compliments i get on the food that comes off the GD and how moist and tender it turns out. I would buy one again and i recommend it highly.

Review: 5 - "Won with Grill Dome!" by , written on May 11, 2011

I've had my Grill dome over 2 years now and just did my 3rd Beef Brisket. Ironically it won 1st place in the Beef competition at the "Q at the Zoo" barbeque cook off in Birmingham, Alabama. This is my one and only Barbeque competition to date and I think I may just quit while I'm ahead. The only down side to getting a grill dome is that you run the very real risk of being disappointed when you go out to pay for a restaurant meal. And that's no exageration. Your food on the dome will come out way better than 95% of your dining out meals.
