Tangy and Sweet, a must try pork rub!
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Dark Brown Sugar, lightly packed
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 4 Tbsp Kosher Salt
- 8 Tbsp Paprika
- 2 Tbsp Ground Black Pepper
- 2 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- 2 Tbsp Onion Powder
- 2 Tbsp Oregano
- 2 Tbsp Chives
Instructions
- As you can see, I like my rub sweet. It’s all about what you want and how you plan to smoke. If you want to cut back on the sweetness, remove the sugar. If you want a kick, add a tablespoon of chili powder and a tablespoon of cayenne.
- NOTE: Since I smoke at 225 degree, the sugar is not going to burn to the level of yuckiness.
