Louisiana Grilled Oysters

This southern Louisiana Recipe is simple and delicious. If you have never tried grilled oysters, see below for the recipe. Ingredients
  • 2 doz. fresh Oysters
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 5 Toes Garlic, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp fresh ground Pepper
  • 1 ½ Tbsp sea salt
  • Juice and Zest from ½ Lemon
  • Fresh grated Cheese
Instructions
  1. Melt all, except cheese, in a pan over low heat
  2. Grill dome should be at full heat as in trex.
  3. Clean and shuck oysters and arrange on grill.
  4. After they get hot, add 1T sauce being sure to get some of the garlic. Add a pinch of cheese.
  5. Oysters will not be ready at the same time. Thicker will need to cook longer. Look for cheese browning around edge.
  6. Eat with fresh sliced French bread to sop up any sauce left in the shell.
  7. Enjoy!!
