This cheese dip recipe for your Grill Dome is incredibly easy and will be sure to be a crowd pleaser at your next football party of tailgate. Just a few ingredients, a cast iron skillet and your Grill Dome and that’s all you need! Recipe and video below.
16 oz chorizo sausage
16 oz shredded mild cheddar
8 oz white cheddar
1 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
1/2 sweet onion
1 cup chopped green onion
Preheat the Grill Dome over direct heat to 375° – 400° then place a cast iron skillet on the main cooking grate. After the skillet is nice and hot, add the chorizo and brown. Next, add the veggies (except for the green onions) and cook for 5-7 minutes until they look nice and tender. At that point, add the cheese then shut the lid of the Grill Dome for 5 min or so until the cheese is completely melted and bubbling. Pull and set aside to cool, garnishing with the chopped green onions. Serve and enjoy!
